Gold and Aquamarine Ring by Grabowski c1960

A modernist 14k yellow gold ring by Grabowski Jewelry of California. The oxidized yellow gold abstract geometric cage mounting holding a step-cut kite shaped med-blue aquamarine weighing approximately 13cts. This ring is amazing on – designed to be worn on the right hand “pinkie”, it fits the finger perfectly. Purchased in the early 1960’s by a couple for their 11th anniversary- it comes in the original Tomobako Japanese- style box, burnished with the Roman numeral XI. A wonderful piece of Californian Studio Jewelry. Sculptural, Wearable and Unique. Size 4 3/4
