A stunning beryl and ruby ring by Barbara Anton. The 1 3/4″ x 1″ 18k freeform mount with a light but vibrant mixed-cut stone weighing approximately 16cts and accented with six oval -shaped rubies. This ring calls the sea.. a coral inspired gold mount , a pale, blue -green lustrous gem, the reflected light of the cut of the stone. A unique , one of a kind piece by Barbara Anton. Bold and Beautiful. Size 7 1/4″ 33g. unsigned. Provenance: the Estate of Barbara Anton Excerpt from our blog.. But Anton was not satisfied with just being a writer, an actress, an engineer, and a painter. Her continued education included study at The Museum of Modern Art and The Gemological Institute of America. Here her love of jewelry led to a new path and she began creating jeweled works unique in design, leading to the distinction of receiving more than 20 international awards for Excellence in Jewelry Design. Such awards included highest honors from The Cultured Pearl Associations of America and Japan and the Diamonds International Award.
